Police are hoping the public can help them identify a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman waiting for a train in Manhattan.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 8th at 6:45 p.m., when a 23-year-old woman was standing on the northbound platform of the N/R train at the 23rd Street station. Police say the man approached her, "put his one arm around her and then took his other hand, put it up her skirt and sexually abused her."

The suspect then fled. Police released images of the suspect, describing him as a white or Hispanic male, 35 to 40-years-old, 5'10" tall and bald. The Daily News notes that it appears he's wearing hospital scrubs.
