The NYPD is searching for an unidentified man in connection with a Brooklyn shooting that occurred Friday. Just after 5 p.m. that day, a man fired shots in front of 234 Sands Street in DUMBO, hitting a 15-year-old boy twice—once in each leg.

The teen was rushed to Methodist Hospital in stable condition and is recovering from his injuries. The shooter fled the scene and remains at large, despite being captured on NYCHA security video cameras. He is described as a black man last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black hoodie, and blue sweatpants with white stripe lines.
