The police are hoping that the public can provide information about an SUV driver who kept going after hitting a seven-year-old girl in the Bronx last month. The girl is still hospitalized.

According to the NYPD, on Sunday, May 24th, at 10 p.m., the girl was crossing East 214 Street mid-block near "Paulding Avenue, from the north side to the south side, when she was struck by a 2007-2015 maroon or dark red Jeep Wrangler that was traveling west bound on East 214 Street. The vehicle, which was being driven by an unknown light skinned female, had NY State plates and left the scene."

The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

Police released video of the car. The driver is wanted for leaving the scene of an accident.
