Police are looking for a robber who took a senior citizen's purse in Brooklyn two days ago.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, May 8. A 65-year-old woman, who was opposite 296 Ellery Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, was approached from behind by a male suspect who took her purse: "The victim attempted to hold on to her purse but the male was able to wrestle it away from her. She attempted to chase the male but was unable to keep up with him."
The suspect, who was last seen fleeing northbound on Broadway toward Lewis Avenue, was described as being about 5'8" and 180 pounds with black hair, wearing dark colored clothing, and black shoes. Here's video of him running away:
