The police are hoping the public can help them identify a burglary suspect who touched a sleeping woman inside a Manhattan apartment he broke into.
This happened yesterday morning, at around 5:10 a.m. According to the NYPD, the suspect entered a building near Hudson Street and West 10th Street through a front door: "Once inside, he went to the rear of the location where he scaled the fire escape and entered an apartment on the second floor. He then grabbed the buttocks of the victim, a 43 year-old female, as she was sleeping."
The suspect fled when the victim woke.
Police released a surveillance image of him, describing him as last wearing black sneakers, black jeans and a white T-shirt.
