Police are looking for the person who stole a cellphone from a bag at Brooklyn Bridge Park—and they say the suspect took this selfie after stealing the gadget.
The incident occurred last month, on September 23rd, at around 6:40 p.m.: The victim, a 21-year-old man, was playing soccer at Pier 5 and left his bag on the ground.
"Upon returning, he noticed his bag was missing. The bag contained his Sony Experia cell phone, a Chase credit card and other personal items.... A photo was obtained from the victim's cellphone as the individual took a photo of himself and was captured via victim's storage subscription service," according to the NYPD.
The suspect is wanted for grand larceny.
