The police are looking for a man who tried to rape a woman in Queens on Friday morning.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred in Ozone Park at around 10 a.m. on December 13. The police say the suspect managed to get into the victim's apartment—the Daily News reportshe followed her after she put out the trash. He allegedly "placed a pocket knife to her neck and told her to take her clothes off." The victim did so, but then she attempted to grab the knife.

The victim was able to wrestle it away, but the suspect then took a second pocket knife and cut the victim on her left wrist and right ring finger. The suspect fled, taking the first pocket knife with him.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his early 20s, approximately 5'10", 180 lbs., with a dark complexion, and was wearing a black hoody with white letters and blue long johns.
