A NJ man was arrested after police say he randomly punched a woman in Central Park the day after Thanksgiving.
The incident happened around 12:15 p.m. on Friday as the 36-year-old mom, also from NJ, was taking photos in the park with her daughter. Police say they were at a gazebo near East Drive when suspect Robert Griner, 37, punched the woman in the face, then fled.
Another person in the park got a photo of Griner, and police were able to track him down about two hours later still hanging near the park at 67th Street and East Drive.
Griner, an Asbury Park resident, has been charged with assault.
