A couple of weeks ago we mentioned that the MTA was going to preview its new R160 cars for the riding public. Chiba at SubText was nice enough to hike out to Brooklyn and snap some pictures of the event for all of us who were too lazy to go. True to the rumors, the R160s are fairly similar to the R143s that are already riding the rails-- but they do have cool new line displays inside the cabin. Check out Chiba's post for all the details-- apparently the signs can change to show different lines-- so when the A switches to the F track, everyone won't be so confused.
