A 30-year-old motorcyclist lost her leg in a horrific crash in East New York this morning, according to police.

The Daily News reports that Queens resident Latisha Larrymore was riding her Yamaha R6 on Atlantic Avenue near Cleveland Street at around 4:30 a.m. this morning when she lost control of the bike and crashed into a minivan.

Witnesses say she fell off the bike and was run over by the van; her left leg was apparently severed. "Her one leg was over there and the other was broken,” minivan passenger Atiba Bailey told the tabloid. “She was just folded up in the fetal position like a baby." Larrymore also crashed into a truck, a wall, and a pole; her bike also exploded. She was transported to Brookdale University Hospital and treated for a number of injuries, including broken arms, a broken right leg, and broken ribs. Family members say she has bleeding on the brain and is in critical condition. "She's lucky to be alive,” her sister told the News. “We are praying for the best."

According to witnesses, Larrymore was weaving through traffic when she struck the van. "I could see her way back there,” Bailey said. “She cut in front of one car and then cut in front of another and then — boom!”

No charges have been filed for the driver of the van.
