Here's an obscure weather fact: Every day this week has been warmer than the day that preceded it. That pattern has a good chance of continuing today as the high should surpass yesterday's 85 degrees. There's a fly in the ointment, though. Lots of cirrus clouds may hold down the temperature a bit, as might an afternoon sea breeze.

A cold front moving down from New England should bring some fresh air and slightly cooler weather tomorrow. Look for a high in the low 80s with a good deal of clouds. Sunday's forecast is a bit of a conundrum in that there's both a better chance for clear skies and a better chance for showers or a thunderstorm. The high, again, will be in the low 80s.

Not much looks to be happening on Monday but maybe we'll see some showers as a weak low develops and moves up the coast. As of now it looks like Isaac will stay a tropical storm as it travels west of the Florida peninsula but perhaps grow to minimal hurricane strength when it nears the Gulf Coast.
