Worried that you won't be able to text your pals a photo of Snooki being dropped in a ball onto Times Square this New Year's Eve? Fear not, the one of you who is actually worried about that, because AT&T has announced they're expanding the capacity of their WiFi in hotzones like Times Square "in order to support its growing number of iPhone customers who cram the place New Year’s Eve."
According to reports, they announced they'll add new hotspots near New York City's Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral, as well as expanding capacity in the Crossroads of the World.
A senior VP at the company says, "AT&T Wi-Fi will be available across a wider area for Manhattan residents, visitors and New Year's Eve revelers during the busy holiday season and beyond." Plus, it'll just get better anyway once everyone switches over to Verizon. [via Runnin' Scared]
