An Italian man who went missing for two days after completing the New York City Marathon has been found.

Gianclaudio P. Marengo, 30, disappeared after he crossed the Central Park finish line around 3 p.m. on Sunday. Marengo, who does not speak English and suffers from a mental disability, traveled to the States with a group of Italian teammates and had been staying at the Sleep Inn Hotel in Long Island City.

His teammates reported him missing to the Italian consulate, which then notified the NYPD.

According to NBC New York, Marengo was found by an off-duty cop in a subway station in Lower Manhattan. He is currently at the First Precinct in the Financial District, where he is in good condition.
