65-year-old actor Michael Douglas hasn't had the easiest year, dealing with his son behind bars and all, and now he's been dealt a new obstacle: throat cancer. The Hollywood legend quit his half-pack-a-day habit 3 years ago, and just a few months ago TMZ commented on his good genes, and noted that he's hardly aged in decades—but according to ABC News, it has been his years of smoking and drinking that's the probable culprit for his current condition. He will now undergo 8 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, and told People that he's "very optimistic," and his doctors expect him to make a fully recovery.
