Three men dressed in suits and fedoras robbed a Tourneau watch store in Midtown yesterday, armed with a gun and using hammers to smash open cases filled with goods.

The NYPD says the incident occurred at around 1:19 p.m. yesterday at a Tourneau shop at 510 Madison Avenue, near 53rd Street. According to police, one of the suspects wielded a firearm and shot a round into the ground, while the other two started breaking watch cases open with their hammers. They allegedly removed Rolex watches and put them in a duffel bag, fleeing on foot.

Witnesses say the robbers were dressed in black suits and wore hats, and one was wearing a bow tie. One of the suspects, 18-year-old Omar Rawlins, was caught by cops while fleeing, and was arrested and charged with robbery. The other two reportedly escaped into the subway, and remain at large.
