Our friend Greg over at Greg.org is organizing a charette to help people refine their ideas for the World Trade Center Memorial Competition. Now, we at Gothamist are no architects, but we love NYC, and Greg said you don't need to be an architect to submit an idea. So I'm looking for two or three people to help me create a memorial design. The final product would be a presentation board, which is just a 30"x40" poster explaining the idea. That shouldn't be that hard to make. The submission is due at the end of June, so we have plenty of time. However, I'll need to register our team by May 29th.
Who am I looking for? A small team of people that would include: someone who knows something about city planning, a designer, someone who can draw, and at least one or two people with big ideas. Anyone interested?
