The presidential election will be here before we know it. And we'll know it because we'll have seen a hundred million attack ads from each side! Yesterday, the campaigns of both Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama released sharp ads criticizing each other.

McCain's camp compared Obama's rock star (Barackstar?) status with that of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. See it below:

Obama's spokesman slammed the ad and the Democrat's team unveiled their response, the "Low Road"--an ad noting how McCain's campaign is in the past and uses "old [negative] politics." There's even a photo of McCain and President Bush together:

Of course, the Obama campaign is trying to deal with a celebrity downer: Rapper Ludacris released a song attempting to boost Obama called "Politics/Obama is Here," but not only does he slam McCain (he belongs in a wheelchair) and Bush, he calls out Senator Hillary Clinton:

Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant. McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed. Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped.

The Obama campaign has condemned the song, saying Ludacris should be "ashamed."
