A 21-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting outside a building at CUNY's New York City College of Technology last night.
Shots were fired around 8 p.m. at the downtown Brooklyn campus, at the intersection of Jay Street and Chapel Street, Pix11 reports. Police say the victim was shot in the torso by a gunman in a two-door white Acura sedan with tinted taillights.
The driver sped away from the shooting, just outside the university's Howard Building, the Post reports. The NYPD is currently searching for the shooter, but no one has been apprehended yet.
The unnamed victim was rushed to Methodist Hospital in serious condition and is now stable. A CUNY representative tells us the man is not a student there.
