A man is in critical condition and a woman was injured after they both fell off the roof of an apartment building in Bushwick early this morning. "It looks like people were drinking and they fell," said NYPD spokesperson Detective Kellyann Ort. "We don't have any other information because no one died," she added.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Sunday on Troutman Street near Cypress Avenue in Brooklyn. The News says the two had been hanging out drinking on the roof all night when they accidentally fell.
The 34-year man fell four stories to the ground below, and suffered severe head and body trauma. The 22-year-old woman fell about 15 feet. They were both taken to Elmhurst Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
