Michael Bettinger is suing Manhattan cosmetic surgeon Dr. Lawrence Reed for allegedly leaving him with misshapen, numb nipples and chest scars after surgery to fix his gynecomastia (male breast enlargement) in 2007. Bettinger initially believed the surgery would give him a "more masculine chest." According to Wikipedia, the word "gynecomastia" comes from the Greek gyne meaning "woman," and mastos, meaning "breast."
