A man was struck by a train in Manhattan this afternoon. According to FDNY, the man was hit by a southbound 4/5 train at the Bowling Green subway station just after 1:50 p.m. He reportedly sustained facial injuries, but they are considered non life-threatening.

According to CBS, the man apparently walked into the side of a departing 5 train at the station. FDNY added that the man was being transported to Beth Israel Hospital.
