Watch where you throw your umbrellas away, especially if you're in Williamsburg late at night. Early Sunday morning, a 30-year-old man was stabbed in the back with his recently discarded umbrella while walking on Metropolitan Avenue near Berry.
The man had just thrown his "tangled umbrella" and hit a car, according to the NY Sun. The car's occupants got out, beat the man, and left the umbrella "embedded in his back," "through his right shoulder blade" per the Daily News. Ow. The police are looking for the attackers, believed to be driving a light blue car. And the victim was in stable condition at Bellevue.
