A man at a Bronx subway station was stabbed by another man on Friday night following an argument, according to police.

The NYPD says that they responded to a call about an assault at the 167th Street stop on thr 4 just after 9:45 p.m. on Friday night. When officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old man with a stab wound on the left side of his stomach.

Police determined that the man had gotten into an argument with a group of 4 unidentified men in the station's mezzanine before the stabbing. An NYPD spokesperson said that two of the men took out knives during the argument with the victim, and that one of them then stabbed him, before all four suspects fled to the street. The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.

The NYPD said that no suspects are in custody and that an investigation is ongoing.
