Cops are looking for two suspects accused of attacking a man on the Lower East Side last weekend.

The incident occurred around 4:13 a.m. on Sunday, October 16th, in front of 142 Orchard Street. According to the NYPD, "One of the two individuals knocked a paper bag out of the 22 year-old male victim's hands. When the victim confronted the individual, the second individual punched the victim in the face. During the ensuing struggle the first individual cut the victim with a sharp instrument."

The assailants fled north on Orchard. The victim was treated for a laceration to his left forearm at Bellevue Hospital.

Police released surveillance footage of the suspects, describing one as wearing a dark colored jacket and dark colored pants and the other as wearing a white t-shirt, white pants and a dark colored baseball cap.
