Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly assaulted a man on a Manhattan street over the weekend.

According to the NYPD, at 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, December 5th, a 49-year-old man was standing in front of 311 East 9th Street when "the suspects approached him and stabbed him several times in the back."

The victim was treated at Bellevue Hospital and released. It's unclear if he knew the attackers.
