A man was struck and killed by a northbound 6 train this morning at 8:46 a.m. in the Bleecker Street station. The FDNY and the MTA had no other information regarding the victim, and service has been suspended on the 4/5/6 trains between Grand Central and Wall Street pending an investigation.
Another man in his mid-twenties was struck by a LIRR train last night at around 10 p.m. in Queens at 48th Street and 37th Avenue, near Sunnyside Garden Park, and was transported to Elmhurst Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
