Last night, as a NY Waterway Ferry was pulling into Jersey City around 7:45 p.m., a male passenger fell overboard from the Frank Lautenberg ferry. He was eventually rescued by two deckhands, who climbed down a ladder to reach him, as the captain called the authorities. WNBC reports the man jumped in and "was not eager to get rescued." The man was later given to the police; it's uncleared whether he suffered any injuries.
