Two men were stabbed in downtown Brooklyn this afternoon. According to FDNY, the incident occurred just after 1 p.m. in the Metrotech area near the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Duffield Street. A man in his 30’s was stabbed in the chest and another man was knifed in the neck and back. One victim is said to be in "very serious condition," and was taken to Kings County Hospital.

This the third major stabbing today: earlier this morning, at least four people were stabbed by a person on a Queens subway platform. And also around 1 p.m., an off-duty NYPD officer was stabbed during an apparent home invasion robbery.
