Police have a man in custody following a suspected double homicide in the Bronx early this morning.

According to the NYPD, two men were found inside a vehicle in the vicinity of Rombouts Ave and Light Street in Eastchester at around 4:42 a.m. Both men had suffered gunshot wounds. One, a 23-year-old male, was found in the driver's seat with a gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, also a 23-year-old male, was sitting in the passenger's seat, and had suffered a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center and pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Cops say a third male is currently in custody and two firearms were recovered at the scene, though no arrests have been made yet, and the incident is still under investigation. And this morning's shootings weren't the only suspected homicides in the borough. At around 10 p.m. last night, authorities say a male in his 20s to 30s was found on the roof of a building at Magenta Street near Cruger Ave with gunshot wounds to his head and back. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and no arrests have been made yet.
