An unidentified man is in critical condition after he was allegedly attacked by a group of men wielding an aluminum baseball bat in Williamsburg, police said.
The victim, a 33-year-old male, was assaulted near the corner of South 3rd and Wythe Avenue at around 12:50 a.m. Wednesday morning. According to police, a neighbor overheard a dispute from the street, then found the victim lying in a pool of blood.
The man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he remains in critical condition with multiple skull fractures, the Daily News reports.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
