A man was hospitalized early this morning after he he was hit by a bus driver while lying in the street.
Cops say that just before 5 a.m. this morning, officers found a 30-year-old man on Park Avenue between 22nd and 23rd Streets with severe head trauma. A preliminary investigation by the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad determined that the man was lying down on Park Avenue when an MTA bus driver hit him, and then kept going north on Park Avenue.
The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, and no arrests were made. Cops told the Post that the man might have been drunk when he decided to lay in the street.
