A 23-year-old man was found fatally shot in the neck at a bed & breakfast in Harlem earlier today.

Police were called to the Harlem Bed & Breakfast on West 120th Street around 1 a.m. today. According to 1010 WINS, "Officials said the victim was staying in the basement garden apartment of the bed and breakfast and authorities believe he knew the gunman." CityRoom adds, "At the time of the shooting, both the victim and the suspected gunman, along with a female witness, were together in the room."

One resident of the area told WCBS 880, "This is a very quaint area and something for that to happen is disbelievable to me." The Post spoke to other neighbors, who said, "This neighborhood is like one big family. Hearing about a shooting on this block is really jarring. I was walking my dogs last night when I saw an army of police on the block," and "I’ve been walking up and down this block since I was seven years old, and I’ve seen some of the worst killings you could imagine. It never gets any easier to deal with. I’m still disturbed by it all."
