A 21-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle near Columbus Circle early Saturday morning.

The unidentified man was found lying unconscious and unresponsive in the crosswalk of Broadway at West 61st Street at 3:15 a.m. this morning, police said. Emergency medical workers pronounced him dead at the scene, and an NYPD investigation later confirmed that he had been attempting to cross the street when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the location.

"He wasn't moving," an unnamed witness told the Daily News. "I don't think the car ever stopped."

No arrests have been made and a police investigation is ongoing.
