A man was fatally struck by a northbound L train in a subway tunnel in Bushwick yesterday, according to police.

The NYPD told Gothamist the incident occurred at around 2:20 p.m. yesterday, near the Wilson Avenue L train station. Police say the train operator told them the man, who appeared to be in his 20s, jumped in front of the northbound L train, though earlier media reports said the victim's body was found in the northbound tunnel.

Cops say the victim was naked when he jumped, and his clothes and cell phone were recovered near his body. He has not yet been identified.

Service was suspended between Myrtle-Wyckoff avenues and Atlantic Avenue for nearly three hours, causing extensive delays.
