A Queens man was killed this week after he got locked out of his apartment and was impaled on a fence as he tried to get back in from the roof.

According to police, John McEvoy, 56, got locked out of his apartment at Beach 120th Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard around 2 a.m. Friday. McEvoy, who the Post says was drunk at the time, apparently went to the roof to try to crawl down into his sixth-floor window.

But McEvoy lost his balance, slipped, and fell onto a chain-link fence. He was declared dead at the scene. Cops add no criminality is suspected.

Last month, a man and woman were seriously injured after they fell off a Bushwick roof.
