Police are searching for three suspects accused of mugging a man as he exited an elevator in the Lower East Side on November 23.

The 45-year-old victim was walking out of the elevator at his Henry and Clinton street apartment complex around 11:10 p.m. when he was grabbed from behind by a male suspect, surveillance footage shows. Once he was wrestled to the ground, two other suspects—a man and a woman—combed through his pockets, their counterpart continuing to choke the victim from behind. When done, the assailant dragged the man, now unconscious, back into the elevator, and all three fled.
