The NYPD is asking for the public's help in finding a man who assaulted another man in the bathroom of a Staten Island Applebee's. Update, July 26, 2017: A NJ man was arrested for the beating.
According to the NYPD, the man in the video below is suspected of beating a 49-year-old man in the bathroom of the New Dorp casual eatery at around 9 p.m. on the night of June 23rd. The victim suffered cuts and swollen head, and wound up losing consciousness as a result of the assault. He was taken to Staten Island University North with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect in the assault is described as having a medium build, last seen wearing a T-shirt, shorts and sneakers.
