Police have arrested Victor Lide, 36, and charged him with arson for his attack at an East Harlem deli in November.
Surveillance footage of Lide from the night of the crime shows him pouring an unknown flammable liquid into the service window of Saied Deli, located at 108 East 125th Street, and setting it on fire. The incident allegedly occurred after Lide attempted to steal beer from the deli earlier that day.
Employees were able to put out the blaze with a fire extinguisher and no one was injured.
