A man punched and kicked a 39-year-old woman onboard a southbound Q train in Brooklyn while attempting to take her cellphone, according to the NYPD.
Police say that on September 15th, at around 2:50 p.m., the woman was onboard the aforementioned Q near the Prospect Park stop when a man she did not know approached her and tried to steal her phone. He then punched and kicked her in the head and body, police said, before he fled the scene without her phone.
The victim was not seriously injured, cops said, and did not want medical attention at the scene.
Cops say the suspect, pictured above, is a male in his twenties, approximately 6'2" tall and 280lbs, last seen wearing a black T-shirt, military fatigue pants and brown boots.
