Former First Daughter Malia Obama was allegedly harassed by a longtime stalker twice in one week in New York City, according to multiple reports.

According to the Daily News, Obama's stalker, 30-year-old Jair Nilton Cardoso, allegedly snuck into a Tribeca building on April 10th and "loudly begged" her to marry him outside the offices of a company where she works. Cardoso was given the boot by the Secret Service, but he then allegedly followed Obama out of a West Village building two days later.

The Secret Service visited Cardoso's Brooklyn home the next day, and reportedly brought him to Kings County hospital after determining he had psychiatric issues. The NYPD's First Precinct is aware of the situation, and the NY Post reports the Secret Service is filing an order of protection against Cardoso.

Sources told the News that the Secret Service recognized Cardoso from multiple attempts to enter the White House when the Obamas lived there. A police spokesperson said that all questions on the topic should be referred to the Secret Service. In a written statement, a Secret Service spokesperson told Gothamist that "As a matter of practice the Secret Service does not comment on the means and methods of protective operations or investigations."
