The World's Most Famous Arena (that destroyed the beautiful old Penn Station) will be opening its door once again after a brief asbestos scare. The city's Department of Environmental Protection said Madison Square Garden was safe, and then MSG management said the Knicks, whose Tuesday game against the Orlando Magic was postponed, will play tomorrow against the Washington Wizards. So, what did the Knicks do with the time off?

Guard Raymond Felton told NY1 that the last-minute notice of the cancellation "kind of messed up my whole day... I had just gotten out of the shower, about to get dressed and hit the West Side Highway and I got a phone call, saying the game was canceled. And I was like, 'Man, are you kidding me? Stop playing with me.' 'No, for real, the game is canceled.' And I'm like, 'Come on.'" He added, "But you know, it was fine. Got a chance to get an extra day of rest, I guess."

Danilo Gallinari went to Central Park and the Apple Store (to look at the iPad) and then had dinner in Soho. And Amare Stoudemire, the nearly $100 million-man, simply said, "I just sat back and watched TV all day. Just took it easy."

As for the game against the Magic, the make-up has yet to be scheduled.
