Hey, remember—well, how could you forget—how we wrote about the M train pervert (and posted the very NSFW photos) of him jerking off? And how a police officer at the 112th Precinct refused to take the victim's report, because the incident occurred in the 110th and suggested that the victim should have run after him? Well, now the NYPD has officially issued a request for media attention about the incident.
The victim sent us her photos of the man and account of NYPD bureaucracy (moral of the story: do not dare bug a cop about a crime that happened outside of their precinct and maybe put yourself in danger). Luckily she went back to the station, where an attendant contacted the Transit Police which is handling the investigation.
The police say the suspect is wanted for public lewdness for the September 14th incident that occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the Grand Avenue stop in Queens. He is described as a Hispanic male, around 5'7", last seen wearing a red shirt, dark pants and black shoes.
