The Milford Plaza Hotel closed for renovations last fall but it's stated its website for the past 9 months, "The Milford Plaza Hotel closed on December 12, 2009, and the planned renovation of the hotel has been suspended while the owner assesses its options with respect to the property." Now, the Wall Street Journal reports that the family that owns the 1,300 room hotel may be selling it to "private-equity firm Rockpoint Group LLC for about $200 million." The deal isn't finalized yet (but the WSJ says this is a sign of NYC's thawing commercial real estate economy) and it's unclear if it'll still be the "Lullabuy of all Broadway."
