Edgar "el Chamaco" Santana was among twelve people charged for their alleged involvement in a cocaine ring that spanned Central America, Puerto Rico and NY. Considered a "rising boxing star," Santana lives in East Harlem and his next fight would have been next month (televised on ESPN). When taken into custody by the DEA, Santana did not say anything, but he was wearing a shirt by James de la Vega that read, "The pressure of survival in the big city will make you lose sight of your dream .. Hang in there."
