At least four pedestrians, including multiple children, were struck by a livery cab driver early this morning on a Bronx sidewalk. There are currently no reported fatalities, although two children are in critical condition.

According to an NYPD spokeswoman, the crash happened this morning around 7 a.m. at 229 East Kingsbridge Road, near the intersection of Valentine Avenue and East 194th Street in Fordham Heights. She said that three adults and one child were transported to Jacobi Medical Center.

However, an FDNY spokesman said first responders encountered six victims total: two in critical condition, three in serious but stable condition, and one with only minor injuries. He could not confirm if the driver was among the victims. According to the FDNY, the two critical patients are children.

According to Vision Zero's crash tracker, one driver and three pedestrians have been injured at the three-way intersection of East Kingsbridge Road, East 194th Street, and Valentine Avenue this year to date.
