A Long Island Walmart employee was arrested yesterday for allegedly sexually abusing a 5-year-old boy in a store bathroom.

Authorities say Matthew Bulmer, 22, cajoled the boy into a bathroom at the Walmart in Islandia at around 8:45 p.m. last night. The boy was shopping in the store with his mother, who was in the store at the time of the alleged incident.

Bulmer, who lives in Islip Terrace, was arrested later that night. He is to be arraigned today and charged with first-degree sex abuse and acting in a manner to injure a child.

"We’re clearly concerned about this allegations, and we’re cooperating in all ways that we can with the Suffolk County Police Department,” Kory Lundberg, a Walmart spokesman, told CBS News. Lundberg says Bulmer has been suspended pending further investigation.
