Despite "The Decision" being made all the way back in July, a few New Yorkers are still hurt that LeBron James chose to go to Miami. Hopefully, his new it's-not-you-it's-me apology will heal those wounds. He told the Daily News, "(Newark) is great. Brooklyn is a great city also." Aww, thanks LeBron! We'll just ignore what he said next, which was, "But I've never been in Newark. I've never been in Brooklyn, so I don't know if [it] would have helped the case a lot."
Though he doesn't regret his decision to not play for the Knicks or the Nets, he does regret the way he broke the news. He said, "if I had a do-over, I'd probably do it a little bit differently," but declined to say what exactly he would change. LeBron James' Ego's Twitter has an answer: "OF COURSE I'D DO "THE DECISION" DIFFERENTLY NOW. FOR STARTERS THIS TIME I'D HIDE MY FUNYUNS THOSE PUNK KIDS ATE ALL MINE."
