• Knicks 94 Nets 86: Stop the presses, the Knicks have a winning streak against the Nets and this win came with Jason Kidd in the lineup. Saturday night went so well that the crowd never had to unleash the “fire Isiah” chants or anything else directed towards the Knicks’ management.

Jamal Crawford led the way with 32 points and Zach Randolph added 20. Even Eddy Curry looked interested with 23 points and 9 rebounds, only his third game of the season with more than 8 rebounds. Add it all up and the Knicks got out of the cellar in the Eastern Conference.

  • Pittsburgh 3 Islanders 2: The Penguins jumped out to a 2-0 start and while New York tied it, they could not complete the comeback. Tyler Kennedy scored on the power play with just over five minutes remaining in the second and it held up.

  • Phoenix 4 Devils 1: The Coyotes put an end to New Jersey’s home winning-streak, jumping out to a 3-0 lead and cruising to an easy victory. Fredrik Sjostrom had two goals for Phoenix.
