Phil Hughes went six innings to earn his 15th win and Robinson Cano had three hits, including his 24th homer and three RBI’s. Austin Kearns added two hits as he continued his hot hitting as a Yankee.
  • Houston 3 Mets 2: Carlos Lee proved the difference as he belted a three-run homer in the 7th to turn a 2-run Mets’ lead into a 3-2 deficit. The runs came off pitcher Pat Misch, who had been dominant up until that point. The Mets got the tying run to second in the 8th with one out, but they couldn’t push it across.
