The Giants are atop the NFC East thanks to their best offensive and defensive players, beating the Cowboys 37-34. Eli led them back from a 12-point deficit with under six minutes left in the fourth quarter and Jason Pierre-Paul blocked the Cowboys last-second field goal attempt. New York is now in control of their playoff destiny.

The Jets didn't mess around Sunday as they jumped out to a 28-3 lead at halftime and cruised to a 37-10 victory over Kansas City. Shonn Greene had another huge game, rushing for 129 yards and a touchdown, catching three passes for 58 yards and having a fumble overturned after it was determined that his "backside" had touched the ground before the ball came loose. The only blemish on a great day was leaving Mark Sanchez in the game during the fourth quarter with a 25-point lead and it almost backfired. Sanchez was slammed into the ground and appeared hurt at first, but he ended up okay. The Bengals, Titans and Raiders all lost, leaving New York in the playoffs if the season ended today.

The Rangers exploded for four goals in the second period as they beat Florida 6-1. Derek Stepan scored twice in the period with Eminger and Gaborik adding the other goals. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 20-of-21 shots to earn the win.
